Subtract the mid value of X which is 3 which came out from class interval calc that is a+b/2 here a is 1 and b is 5 so 1+5=6/2=3 and i calculated X (bar) as 15.94 by the formulae Sigma fx/sigma F so sigma fx is 622 and sigma f is 39 so divide these and get 15.94 and then subtract mid value of X which is Xm - X(bar) and it is -12.94 or -12.95 use calculator.. I hope this might help

when you are generating mean, you did wrong wrong wrong.. n is not 39, n is 5
