I'm not Jewish (though I'm a student of many religions and philosophies), but I always find the "sermons" (for lack of a better word) of Rabbis very real, worldly, and practical. It almost feels like listening to a mental health professional or life coach.

My best friend had a neurosurgeon. His father had brain cancer and he became obsessed with helping people in the same situation so he became a surgeon. I read a quote that says, “From the pain comes the dream. From the dream comes the vision….”

Thank you for validating my hope for myself. My goal is to uplift and be positive to others. Sometimes I fail but most of the time I smile and use the manners I was taught as a little girl. Nearing 70 I have wondered who I was meant to be and you helped me understand.

Toda Rabbi Simon Jacobson. I am a musician, violinist, teacher (main way I make money), composer, producer of musical concerts of new music (I run a little non profit called COCOA Music - Composers of Ohio Collaborative Organization for Acoustic Music). Yet I don't think I am living my purpose or calling. I can't afford the course right now, but I will try to implement the POP+P+H=M for myself.

O children of Israel! Remember My favours upon you. Fulfil your covenant and I will fulfil Mine, and stand in awe of Me ˹alone˺. Believe in My revelations which confirm your Scriptures. Do not be the first to deny them or trade them for a fleeting gain. And be mindful of Me. Do not mix truth with falsehood or hide the truth knowingly. Establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and bow down with those who bow down. Do you preach righteousness and fail to practice it yourselves, although you read the Scripture? Do you not understand? And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is a burden except for the humble. those who are certain that they will meet their Lord and to Him they will return. [2:40+]

I don't know my purpose. I live a comfortable life and that comfort zone continues to shrink. Normal things become more painful to do. Socializing outside of my bubble feels unbearable. I don't want to take part in much anymore & have no dreams of what I want to achieve in life.

It starts with baby steps. Begin by being kind to yourself and telling yourself positive thoughts. When I had cancer, I learned to appreciate simple joys such as seeing a butterfly, smelling a nice scent and expressing thankfulness for each blessing. Focus on being thankful and the other thoughts and issues that are negative will begin to take care of themselves. During treatment when I felt so afraid and then I opened my eyes seeing others troubles, I began to be thankful. Helping others helps us even if it is a smile, a kind word or expressing gratefulness that they might not see. Just recently I was given a kindly worded blessing from someone that had cancer as a young mother, her young son had died with cancer, the cancer had returned and one of her children had her gene that would give that child cancer. She was thinking of others, it was beautiful to see her love and kindness to others and I happened to be the recipient of her love and caring for others that day.

Why don’t viewers listen to your whole message before they change the subject! Your perspective is a warped and twisted assumption that you have a captured audience that can’t cancell on you! Get off of your ideals! Social media is a popping trend based on attention on the star not the audience! If you need approval from young groupies then sit here and lie about your greatness, but if you grow up and know marketing trends grow old and broke, get real
