It's a really important energy question. I may be able to coach everyone, but I can't create content for everyone :) Glad it was useful! And, thank you for the comments.

It was also hard to think about my focus for fear of missing out on other stuff. That fear hasn't actually manifested.

Hi, Lyssa, thank you so much for this video, it was very useful for me, a food for thought and exploration ❤ Could you please share your thoughts on this? What if the topics I am passionate about are quite different, at least on the surface? As an example, I love leadership, team coaching, and I feel very comfortable there, due to my previous corporate and L&D career. And the other niche I would like to explore is relationship coaching, more precisely non-conventional relationship styles, and helping people become happy and thrive in relationships they choose for themselves. What’s the first thought that comes to your mind? Is it challenging to combine the two in coaching, and whether it makes more sense to make a choice between the two in the beginning of my coaching career? Thank you! P.S. I realise this sounds like a topic for me to be coached on 😅 and I would still appreciate any thoughts you might share on this 😊
@LyssadeHart2 ай бұрын
P.S. Yes it does. But I think the thing that rises to the surface for me is that it's all relational, both the leadership and team, as well as the individual and couples. So maybe the focus is on authentic thriving relationships? I don't know, what shows up for you?

Hey, Have you met any Coaches who don’t want to niche? I’m running into a lot of people in that are awakening to wanting to help people and work for themselves, but not wanting to niche.
@LyssadeHartКүн бұрын
Honestly I didn't want to niche. I think the issue is that it's really hard to focus on the EVERYTHING you could support people with. And getting know for one thing starts to grow. I work with people on all sorts of things but I focus on only a few things for writing or video, etc.

@@LyssadeHart I’ve been always saying that I’m a general life coach exactly like you ..☺️but recently I realized that it’s important to find a certain niche in order to enjoy more the coaching work and feel more confident with the coachee and subsequently come up with higher awareness..After your insight I’m more certain now that I have to concentrate more in my niche ( Relationship and family coach)… Never dreamt of having a conversation you 🤩It’s an honor .. You are a Very respectful and adorable Coach ..Thanks I’m always learning from you the best tools🙏♥️♥️

@@rehamhamed8898 Great insight; I have found that by niching down, I also enjoy the clients attracted to what I offer and, conversely enjoy coaching more. :) Thank you for the sweet comments and I am very happy to be having a conversation with you as well!

Did you say Butter Up or Better Up ? Also are there any other places you’d recommend to gain experience to the various styles of coaching?
@LyssadeHart Жыл бұрын
LOL, I said BetterUp, but if it was toast, I'd say "butter up!" :) There are a lot of organizations that provide coaching to businesses and organizations. They do the leg work to get the contracts and then hire coaches to deliver the coaching to the participants. Honestly, I don't have a comprehensive list. I would recommend going to LinkedIn or doing a Google search for BetterUp and Lee Hecht Harrison alternatives. Also, if you are a member of ICF, talk to other members in your local chapter; they often work in these organizations and can help you find a good match.

Thank you very much Lyssa for this training. I really needed this session. I am a new coach. I need opportunity to practice and gain experience. Is anyone out there willing to risk their space?
@LyssadeHart Жыл бұрын
I highly recommend ReciproCoach. You can sign up an get a coach and a client, so you learn from both sides of the chair, so to speak.
