I spend the first portion of my morning listening to a podcast while I go about eating breakfast, walking my dog, etc. That way, I have racked up my entertainment for a good while. I then break my day with a workout, and then bookend my day with watching a movie I've never seen before. That way, even if I haven't done enough creative work, I still feel like I got stuff done.

For “Warm Up” I would also recommend to try writing 📝 for 5 minutes straight. We did this in my English Comp. course & it helped me in clearing my mind 🧠 to focus on the material ahead & just brain vomit everything from the day earlier lol This was a helpful video I really needed to see since I’ve been stuck in editing one video for like a month. I’m trying to get out of that magnum opus mindset I have with taking so long on them lol. My favorite tip was to never reach the upper bound limit, it’s so easy to feel bad about ourselves bc of hustle culture. It can be useful, but also wear us down. I like how you kept emphasizing that we’re not bad people for getting distracted. Lastly, I’m ngl- at first I thought this was a nikolas christy video. Lmao I think bc I discovered him through you & y’all look alike that happened 😂

I manage 3 channels on You Tube. They are different from the channel that I want to start and have wanted to start for several YEARS. True Crime! That is my obsession! I always do everything on the back side of KZbin to get the channels that I manage in the algorithm. HOWEVER after watching your videos? I think I'm going to go for it! This was a good video because of the truth behind it. I can tell you've been doing creative work for awhile just based off the advice here...you know the grind. It can be so hard sometimes, especially breaking inertia at first. It can almost feel impossible at times. Have you ever had the thought of, "how am I going to do this in the long term? Wont I run out of ideas or become a copycat at some point?" How do you deal with that, if so? I understand steal like an artist but sometimes that doesn't solve the anxiety of being a creator with those thoughts and the desire to make something that feels original.
