You are very clear in everything you explained but i want to know why other online sites said that if the widest part of your face are cheekbones you should have an oval face shape, and if the widest part of your face is forehead you have a heart face shape, so the opposite of what you say. How is the truth?

Hi Silvana! Hmm let me try and answer this! I guess what's really important is the angle between the cheekbone and the top of the forehead and the angle of the cheekbone and chin. If the widest part of the face is the cheekbone it could be an oval, square or diamond. It really just depends on what happens next!

It sounds like you might have a diamond face shape! If your cheekbones are the widest part and your hairline goes to a point and your chin goes to a point!

I am a 54 yr old . And let's just say heavy set , with a heart shaped face and a double chin forming. Anyway I haven't worn any and I mean ANY makeup in probably a decade . In fact I don't even have anymore cause it was so old I threw it away and never caught anymore . Well my daughter is getting married in the beginning of October and I don't want to embarrass her so I'm thinking of getting some make up , but I'm not sure what to get anymore . My eyes are green and I have a more medium - light skin tone with a yellowish undertone instead of pink . Can you please give me a little advice on what type of make-up a 54 yr old grandmother and mother of the bride should purchase and use . I have a question, where is a fool proof way to apply blush for everyday? With landmarks please XD My face is wide and when I smile I don't have an apple of the cheek the whole cheek area except the back of the cheekbone pops, so I can't follow that guideline XD my cheekbones are not long and lifted like on heart shaped faces so.. I can't apply it there high like Wayne goss does.

Great question - I usually say keep your blush two or three finger spaces away from your nose! Can you feel where your cheekbone begins? You can use a brush handle to help you find it! (See my contouring video for help) Place the blush right there! Try a few different places and take pictures of each one to see what you like! There are a tons of right ways to apply blush and fads with blush placement come and go! Just look at the 80s :)
