The fact that your unprotected iPhone fell from a roller coaster onto concrete without any damage besides the speaker is absolutely incredible!! If it had an OtterBox Defender, Griffin Survivor, or similarly hardcore case on it, I wouldn't be as surprised, but conventional wisdom is that iPhones aren't exceptionally fall-resistant on their own.

Just as a reminder, a lot of phones have a "Find my Phone" feature, and no, apple did not start using it first, or invent it. They didn't really invent much (Like Cloud Storage) witch some believe they did (For what ever reason), a good example is the Windows Phones, they have a "Find my Phone" feature, a "Lock my Phone", "Play Sound" and a "Erase my Phone", there is also a feature to both play a sound and lock at the same time. (Also the Windows Phone Find feature has a "Sat alight" for the map) But for most maps (Like the iPhone Finder) is not 100% accurate, so when he saw it in the "Grassy field", it was really over a bit on a sidewalk, most maps are like that as its hard to get it 100% accurate, but it gives good idea of "where it is", But testing the Windows Phone "Find my Phone" maps, they seem to be about 99.9% accurate, not hatting on Apple, iv used iPhones for a long time and know how accurate the "Find my Phone" maps are. But the Windows One seems to be way more accurate. (Again, no offence to iPhones/Apple) And no, iv never lost my Phone :)

Maybe you need to go to the Lost and Found of places you've been within the last week. Or you could search outside your home, in case you dropped it outside and its landed somewhere unseen. I went googling and I found something on gizmodo.com about "How to Find Your Missing Phone". It talks about a google feature Android Device Manager. It may help if you have an Android. (I probably don't have the most unique and helpful ideas, but I tried, eheh.)

I was at my sister's ballet (Pronounced balley) pracice i stuck my Pokemon White game in my pants pocket. We went home i suddenly couldn't find it and about a year later i found it in the same pants pocket! Now for the phone. Me and my sister was at a sleep-over with my cousins, one got my sister's phone and started texting me (this was the day i want home) i put my phone on do not duisturb and put in in the side of my bag and when my mom came to pick me up i couldn't find my phone it took me almoas 30 mins to realize it was in the side of my bag the whole time!

I came so close to losing my phone just last week, but an incredible stroke of luck allowed me not to lose my 6th in the past 3 years. Just before sunrise I'm out in the woods taking a shortcut home and realize my phones gone, and could've dropped anywhere over the past km I had walked. I started the futile task of grasping through the undergrowth and just as I started to plan out getting a new one, I hear a huge group of people who were also randomly walking through the woods at like 5am.. After shouting back and fourth over a a large creek I finally got one of them to call my phone hoping I might hear it. Unbelievably just a few meters downstream I hear it, and felt it completely buried under thick patch of bush right on the bank of the creek, completely dry and intact. How it got under there, I have no clue.

One time I was at Disney World, and my mom and I went on this ride. It didn't go upside down but it did a lot of sharp turns, and so I put my glasses in this little pouch in the seat specifically designed for putting your items in. And my mom takes them out and is like "No, it'll fall out, I'll hold it." I say okay, we go through the ride, get off, and I ask, hey can I have my glasses back? Ya. They had fallen off on the ride. Never found em. And I'll tell you, losing your prescription glasses is much worse (and more expensive) than an iphone.

One of my cousin's (who works at a cell phone store) customers lost their phone once. She left it at a restaurant. So she used the gps thing and saw that the phone only went from restaurant to a certain home address everyday. She went back to the restaurant told the manager the address. Yes, I have lost my phone before. When I went to NY, I went to go to an I love NY store with my sister. We were looking at stuff but didnt really like anything. So we just played with some of the things inside which led me to taking out my phone which I forgot about. It took us a few minutes to just think of where it is. After that, we asked the owner if he can help find the phone. He said yes but smiled weirdly. We looked around and im guessing the dude found it and put it in his pocket.

My church does a huge Easter egg hunt for about 550 kids every Easter. I have a black phone and I lost in grass that was like 6 inches high (no joke) while hiding eggs for two year olds.
