Hi Jennell. Love this weaving. Been good to see this right from when you first picked the colours. To see you weave and unweave the fringe and the addition of the darker colour and across a fraction just above the fringe area. To see how you removed the Tapestry from a large loom. Then to see the Completed Tapestry Hanging in All its Glory is Amazing. I am in Complete Awe of You. Keep weaving x keep smiling x keep safe and well lots of love Jen xxx Hope Cody and 4 pets are OK. Love to them as well...

If I remember correctly, there's some Lion Brand wool-ease, a thinner cotton yarn, and another wool blend one I can't remember the name of. :)

Hi Janelle. I love the piece! I was wondering what brand of large loom you use? It looks like a good one!

Do you have any special tips for taking a large weave off that you don't want the top to be touching the dowel because of not making an even row more of slanted points?? Not sure if that makes sense???
@spruceandlinen2 жыл бұрын
I would suggest a twining stitch or a hemstitch at the top to keep everything in place, and then you could hang it directly from the loops at the top ☺️

Hi Jennell hope you're OK was just wondering how many warp threads you use for a large weaving. Either for thus one or the black wavy one. How deep are they? Keep weaving x keep smiling x keep safe and well lots of love to you all Jen xxxx

I actually have no idea! I just pick the width I want the weaving and warp accordingly. This big one is about 45" wide.

She missed showing us the most important part... how did she tie the bottom warp threads.. each one? But went on forever with measuring
@spruceandlinen4 жыл бұрын
Top and bottom are tied off the same way, I tie two warp strings at a time in overhand knots.
