How to finish Warcraft 3 [TWILIGHT OF THE GODS] on HARD in 5 minutes /w Goblin Land mines

Just tried it on the classic one, works as well. I do not consider this cheesy, for several reason: Our allies literally does NOTHING - Jaina could trains an army of knights and priests to support us, and yet, nothing. Thrall could also send at least some troll witch doctor to heal us or something, but, no. not a thing. Also the undead builds everything at warpten speed, so they are constantly cheating. BTW if you destroy the Necropolis, acolytes and 2 slaughterhouses and nothing else, the waves will still stop.

Yes, it does work on every version! The fact that this is still possible on Reforged means it's a legit way; the level itself suggests you to use land mines (even if to defend, not to attack ahah). I always disliked that the allies does literally nothing and stop even training units at some point: it feels way less epic.

That's funny you say that, I'm playing the original too and tried this, however Acolytes just spawn in afterwards anyway. On the first patch.

@@FranksMuseumOfGaming No way in the original wc3 acolytes "spawn" after you kill all of them and the Necropolis. How could they? Try again while using the cheat to see the whole map (iseedeadpeople in chat) and check the enemy base if it's actually like this, because I really doubt so, except if it's a super recent patch. I tried this method dozens of times when I was younger and there are no units randomly appearing except the wisps and the doomguards/fels that Archimonde spawns if you go near him. Let me know!

Just tried this on War3 Reforged 2.0 and it still works. They removed Chimera from this level, but it doesn't change anything with this strat. If you are really fast you can get to the undead base before they build the Boneyard saving some time. Did the same second bombing. Did a third on the Slaughterhouse closest to the entrance and did a fourth bombing on the Temple of the Damned and Crypt in the top left of the base. Had to wait for goblin land mines to refresh enough but worth it because once I did the third bombing they stopped attacking and on the fourth bombing they sent what was left of the base at me leaving just Archimonde and few random buildings. Waited out the rest of the time and easily won. A few tips: be fast. Start building units to support the human base and set the rally points there right away to keep the base alive. Build the two gold expansions right away as well so they will be ready to build up units. I built to Ancients of Lore in the human base and moved my Ancient Guardians down there as well. Used wisps right away to grab the extra bear and trolls camps on the map and sent those down to help as well. Failed a couple times before I tried this and it took a few tries to finally get it right. Thanks for the video!

For me, I just destroy the Slaughterhouses after taking down the Necropolis and Acolytes. They use Meat Wagons in every wave except the first one, so if you take away their ability to produce those, then it's game over. No need to destroy the Crypt, Altar, or anything else-just the pair of Slaughterhouses.

THANK YOU! Tried to fight the armies straight up for 2 hours with heavy micro'ing and it's legitimately impossible on hard mode cause the humans and orcs don't do jack shit and spell immunity + earthquake destroys everything. Got to around 8 minute mark and died twice

Did they patch this? I spammed the goblin mines and managed to destroy the Necro, acolytes, and crypt. The waves of demons were still too overwhelming

No, you just need to be very fast in killing acolytes and then the necropolis. Done that, undead AI has no way to rebuild any building. From that attack on, every building you destroy with the mines will be lost and impossible for the enemy to replace. So first you destroy the altar (since the enemy level 10 heroes are very strong) and the slaughterhouse, so the next waves are very light, then the rest of the base. I saw a walkthrough where they used hip riders to target rhe wagons, infernals, and abominations. They used dryads on the ground for their spell resistance and dispel ability. I might try this strategy a few times. Just put land mines in Jaina's base instead of in the Undead base lol. If that doesn't work then I'm using this exploit. Like others have stated, the allies do nothing, the enemy cheats, etc. I don't even know if I'm going to be able to play Frozen Throne on hard difficulty.

@@af-pv7vm i managed to finish this level a lot of times in Hard Difficulty without any mines. There are several strategies: massing hippos, building production buildings directly in Jaina’s base, taking the two expos, hiring merchs, massing Ancient Protectors. Tbh anything works: I did speedrun both RoC and TFT on hard, you just need to adjust timings and composition. I know you can do it! 💪🏽

@@Gh0stChannel Finally got it. Just went with heroes tanking and healing for dryads and mass archers, and I tried to keep 7 or 8 glaive throwers in the rear, which made the big difference I think. Tried to mass protector too but it was hard with the high upkeep and the above-normal levels of micro NE needs to build static defense. In the end my tree of life was fighting the dread lord lol. I also waited to go over 40 food until the humans got killed, and I spent that time getting all the upgrades, and both gold mines. Definitely think I'll revisit this sometime with better strats.

This method can deal with the units that they can produce... Archimonde, on the other hand, spawns infernals, doom guards and fels continuously and they just overwhelm you. Any advice ?

@@beren9657 yes, Archimonde has an ability that summons infernals and another one that summons doom guards and fel hounds, but he uses them only if you aggro him. He stands in his base doing nothing until the very last minute, so after his base is destroyed he won’t move and doesnt send any unit.

Se senti il video lo dico: è semplicemente un video che volevo fare da quando ero piccolo su come speedrunnare l'ultimo livello di wc3. Ricordo che cercavo disperatamente un modo per vincere in hard mode quando ero piccolo, ma ancora adesso non ci sono tutorial dettagliati su come riuscire a fare questo trick. Recentemente ho giocato wc3 reforged tanto per fare e trovandomi all'ultimo livello ho pensato "ci starebbe finalmente fare il video sul trick delle mine" e in pausa pranzo l'ho fatto! Ieri comunque ho finito Scarlet Nexus, aspettati un JRPG time nelle prossime settimane finalmente! :D (in ita obv)

@@Gh0stChannel Worked perfect, thanks! They spawned new acolytes very fast so it took a little, but managed to get a starfall in the base and got them killed. Now just to sit and relax the rest of 30 minutes :)
