For simple shore fishing it worked just fine, I’ve even caught salmon on them.

Can you bring a tackle box with lures in your carry on luggage?

I did, just a small tackle box, and I took it out of my bag going through tsa and didn’t have any problems at all.

Shrimp flavor is what we used most of the time. I tried a few flavors but found they didn't make a big difference. Good luck and hope you have a great time!

Take a variety but focus on smaller than you think you’ll need. A lot of the fish have mouths the size of bluegills.

Some have size restrictions (most don’t) but you do need to be careful of ciguatera that can make you sick.

Many dangerous fish to handle. Not like mainland & many are stung or cut & ruin vacation in an ER.Use caution out here please. Bright colors can be a warning.
