I needed this. Thank you SO much! I am having difficulty snagging too often when nymphing. I’ve lost at least 30 different flies from nymphing and getting snagged. Would love some input on judging depth! Thanks so much.

Thanks for your comment - glad you enjoyed the video. Judging depth comes with practice and becomes harder as you go from gin clear water, to water that has a slight color to it. If you start by standing at a depth just above your knees you'll be about 2 feet deep. Use the visual acuity of the bottom where you are standing as a base line for guesstimating the rest of the pool. Hope that helps a little...
