Want to know how to fish off Dolphin Beach? I show you have to catch a fish off Dolphin Beach which is on the Yorke Peninsula. This is the best York Peninsula fishing spot for fishing South Australia and is not far from the Marion Bay Caravan Park. We set up to the left side of the beach entrance, but we only caught very small fish and a couple of sting rays. After breakfast we moved halfway along the beach, we caught lots of salmon trout and mullet. We used size 1.0 octopus hooks with salted pilchards for bait and we used size 8 long shank hooks with gents. Both were in a paternoster style rig configuration.
Dolphin Beach is located within the Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia and is a very beautiful beach and is well worth the visit.
Note that there are no facilities at Dolphin Beach, but the access in relatively easy to the beach via a short walk and a small set of stairs.
