My favorite jig lake. I fish mostly jigs there. Classic day there for this time of year. I think your catching the early spawn. It should go off for a while in that lake. Great video. Appreciated.

Yea we’ve had amazing football jig days there too. Last summer we got 76 in a day. We did see a couple spots that looked like they were fanned but no fish sitting on it.

Hook a bunch of red worms on your hook, let sit for 3-5 mins. then slowly lift and retrieve a few feet. I lost a record bass below our campground doing that, only my lack of experience kept me from landing.

Those bass will probably fatten up and maybe be in a later wave of spawners during the season.
