How to fit, cut, install larger tile around curved edge walls

There are various options on how to fit tile, especially a larger porcelain tile around curved walls. Also there are a lot of tools that could assist in fitting the tile in various areas. Although in this video I am showing my way on how i fit the tile in a simple way. Installing larger tile, usually it takes a lot of readjustment before the final tile layout design in the irregular bathroom floor plan.
On this remodeling project I demolished the old master bathroom and created rounded walls and rounded ceiling with the dome and arches so that this bathroom would have a very comfortable energy flow design. Also here I did build the round corner shower with the linear drainage, that means I was able to put this larger porcelain tile in a shower floor as well. This will be in a next video.
I think that home remodeling requires a lot of creativity and sometimes not standard approach in readjusting the old design into a new one. By using larger tile in this type of bathroom design would give more stable appearance, although the tile must be design that way so that the larger lines would not evoke the distraction into the entire design.

Thanks for the advice. I tiled a bathroom with only a diamond disc thanks to you. The Home Depot guy said you can't cut curves that way. Boy was he wrong!

Get yourself a flexible curve that draftsmen use. It will be marked like a ruler and long and thin, probably about 5 to 10 MM square but totally pliable. I always had two in my tiling box and you can form them to any curved line, saves trying to go over your markings free hand 😉

Why not measure a foot and grout space out and the distance to the wall from a framing square, then connect the curve. Cardboard template if needed. But hey, I like your style. You make me feel a little better about my DIY curve tile cuts I'll be attempting. You're a skilled craftsman.

I do this trick with a stick and rubber band. Use the rubber band to hold the pencil where you want to start. On the stick.. And the scrap piece of wood stick. Needs to be straight..

Putting glue on the tile aswell when you had it on the floor is completely senseless, doing tiling more than ten years, never do that and never had tiles coming off.
