HOW TO FIT FORD XW XY 4 INTO 1 PIPES ENGINE STILL IN

G'day guys, in this latest video we show how to fit a brand new set of Pacemaker PH4090 351 Cleveland Toploader 4 speed XY 2v 4 into 1 pipes with 3.5" outlet with the engine still fitted in the bay.
If you are watching and have an old set of pipes our tip is to remove the engine mount link pin on the drivers side and jack up the motor to allow more room. If you have a set of old pipes and you are unsure what they are off make sure you watch "The Clevo King" last video showing the difference between XY and XA pipes to make sure you have the right set.

Best thing I ever did with my Pacemakers, was get them ceramic coated. They never lose their colour, and protect them for quite a while. Maybe the owner of the car might get them done down the track...? Can I also make a suggestion with extractor gasket choice, try the Graphite RemFlex ones - got them on my Ute - excellent seal and they form to any imperfections in the face of the head or pipes. Just a suggestion to try out in one of your projects and see what you think!

We actual I just got a graphite fel pro header gasket to try a couple of days ago might be a similar design, thanks for the tips Mate ceramic coating does make a big difference. I will suggest it!

Great info guys.Trolled your videos but couldnt work out if your saying when you have the engine out you put it back in with the pipes attached (or one side) or just with the engine lifted from the mounts. Thanks again.

We fit the motor and box together with the drivers side pipe on, cooler lines and starter makes it a bit easier. Passenger side pipe goes on easy as

Once you've got all the pipes in the car how are you sealing them back to the collector?

The fit is about a two inch slip with the flow it shouldn’t be an issue but if it is when I am back there next to do the front brakes we will put a little mani seal on the joins.

Ceramic coat them puppies. It makes a big difference in engine bay heat. I got mine done in black. It comes up a treat
