Thats how it's done ,very nice job .......I personally don't take the cut all the way down the cove ,I have it cut just to the top of the cove ,that way the weld is smaller

I'm in the carpenters union in michigan. Company I work for gets flashcove jobs every so often. Not everybody is good at it but from the floor laying experience I've gained over the years I can tell you right now that if your good at flashcove you will always have a job guaranteed.

Im one of the only union floor guys in columbus OH here, and our boss sent us some old dude that just doesnt give a fuuuuuuuck about twaching us how to do anything right The guy is heating up his knife and physically MELTING the outside corners together instead of properly welding because "ahhhh its not my job". I guess you dont even need to be good at it, just pretend that you know what to do

Use scribe paper for coving way cleaner and easier. Mark it out draw a line, transfer on vinyl glue floor drop it right in every corner fits perfect, don't have to hack your corners in like this

Jason Morgan Hey. I am about to try this on my bathroom but I am a little worried I will mess it up. Do you have a video that show the way you have described? Would be nice to see it.

Reccomend on forgo but vinyle isn't necessary to scribe
@watchyourtonex69895 жыл бұрын
I think the scribing it in or cutting you corners in when its glued is all on personal preference. I cut all my corners in, I can scribe it but it takes too long for me....all personally preference.
@CRASS20472 жыл бұрын
The reason for scribing with pattern paper is if your flash coving extremely brittle material like forbo.

Cool Video but distracting music would have been better if you talked through the video, telling us the tools you are using and the technic.

Hi Jason, I am echoing Danilo's request. Also, I'm starting to use this technique in RV's. Could you list the basic tools/ materials I would need?
