how to fit UCA's to a HILUX

how to fit aftermarket upper control arms to a 2005-15 Hilux, this should also be the same for a 2016 - on Hilux as they use the same upper control arm.
I'm by no means a mechanic and I found this install pretty easy so if I can do it then I'm sure you all can by following along.
Tool List:
14mm Socket
17mm Socket
19mm Socket
22mm Socket (Wheel nuts, size may vary)
Socket ratchet
19mm Spanner
Breaker Bar
Hammer
Pliers
Axle Stand
Jack
Flat head screwdriver

Hey man, did my today with a 3inch lift. You can fit the 4 washers in, its a prick doing it alone, get a mate to help took all 4 hands lol you feed the bolt in one side first to hold them 2 washers, then pull uca away on rear side and hold inner washer and push uca back in line a get mate to slip bolt thru

I was gunna leave them out at first but the fit wasn't right, I figured if the uca couldn't sit up there by itself like standard one did when I took bolt out that it wasn't right

Nah I just paid the 100 bucks to get that fitted haha not worth the hassle when it was so cheap to get someone else to do it.

you had any issues with these? im thinking about getting them as they are alot more affordable then camburg and ive seen very mixed reviews of jerrys ucas. only thing is theyll be shipped to latin america so not wanting to stuff up haha

If I get UCA what’s the biggest tyres I can fit on my 2” lift Toyota hilux sr5 2013 ?

UCA's won't really affect the size of tyre you can fit , they basically just improve the drive-ability once you have made the other necessary changes to fit bigger tyres like removing plastic from the inside of the guards and adjusting caster forwards.

Talked to the bloke at the shop he said he doesn’t use them when he installs them either, I couldn’t find a way to make them fit. Not sure why they are in the kit

No offense dude, but when I saw a bottle jack, a ryobi and a claw hammer, I couldn't stop laughing. You don't value your limbs much to work with your vehicle on a dodgy bottle jack. Get some axle stands man and decent tools to do the job properly.
