How to fix 2017 Subaru Forester Tail Lights

Watched 4 other videos where people used different body tools to try and unclip the assembly but I couldn’t make it work until I saw your simple instruction to pull it backwards

KNOWING which direction to pull or remove, without breaking other fitments or fasteners in the process, for the lens unit is the START of the replacement of blown light bulbs. Thank you.

Fair warning, when he says “towards you” he means slide to the back, not pull from the side. 100% broke my clips. Good news is it still sits pretty tight.

If Phillips head proves difficult 10 mm hex is perfect. Pull straight back. Don’t see need for credit card.

I really appreciate your comment. I am glad it helped, The nest time I change the oil I will record it but, I am afraid that my break job days are over. I did breaks before but now a days It is just too important of a job. You see this is my daughters car. Stopping is so important that I will have them done by a professional from now on.
