How to fix a broken door handle on your car, on a budget! This is an easy car door handle replacement, a d.i.y that anyone can do! in today's video, we are replacing the car door handle on my 2005 Infiniti, fx35! It's about time! lol.

I just bought one of these for $2k, engine has 80k miles came with a cold air intake, I hella scored on it. Pretty fast, has cosmetic issues tho. The handles for all the doors are completely gone besides the passenger. Seems like an easy fix though, im about to hit the junk yard this weekend and have some fun.

@@ShaneMihalow depending on how many miles u have on the car or if u have aftermarket wheels u may need to have the tpms sensors replaced each wheel should have 1 but they're on the inside of the tire so without a tire machine u can't really replace them yourself however our cars have a relearn procedure that can be done and if it doesn't work then typically that means the tpms sensors are bad. I'm not sure the exact procedure but I'm sure there's tons of videos on it! If u can't find a good 1 let me know and ill do my best to make a video on it my tpms sensors are going bad as well sometimes the warning light comes on and then goes off eventually ill quit procrastinating on it and buy new ones for mine as well lol

The driver door handle of my '03 fx35 broke off right before going to work so I'll be working on this as soon as the parts come in.

@@BlackWidowdetailing Do you know what the cable is for on the driver handle? I noticed the other handles don't have it.

I couldn't tell ya it may have something to do with the locking mechanism tho because thats the only door with a key hole

@@BlackWidowdetailing I can't seem to remove that cable or the lock mechanism where the key goes into. My guess is to disassemble the driver door from the inside.

@@Airbender24B Yeah u might try that. I couldn't get the lock out either when i did mine, I just pulled the lock towards me and then too the right and it was enough to slide the drivers door handle back in but the cap that covers the key hole broke when I tried to take it off so be careful with that, i had to jb weld mine back on, its supposed to just clip on there but 1 of the clips broke that hold it securely to the locking mechanism majig lol

How did you roll down the driver and passenger side windows with your remote?

Hit the unlock button twice and hold it down the second time. Not sure what all year models are capable of doing it but hope it helps its definitely a nice feature to have when its hot outside

Cheapest I found was 13 lol. But yeah they don't cost a lot but at the time I was on a tight budget and didn't want to waste money buying 1 whenever I'm buying 4 new ones already painted black and I didn't want them mismatched lol.

Thanks! and yeah they're not much but this was just a temporary fix eventually I'm going to order all 4 black ones. Also, not everyone has 8 bucks to spend, which is why I wanted to make this video, to help them out as well as those who want to save the 8 bucks lol
