Very good video for anyone that has one of the affected vehicles. I had to get a emergency repair fuel line kit for my ex Neon when the factory plastic line got a pinhole leak in it one day going to work. Did it on the side of the road with some wire cutters and the kit that was like 15 bucks. It got me down the road till I could find a 95 only OEM fuel line that has been discontinued. Never had to mess with the tipm or fuse/relay block it had other than to check fuses and relays when it was having very occasionall issues.

Good ol' fuse m25 lol. This is a good one to show the rookies.. they probably replaced the pump twice because they "saw" voltage on the m25 supply, but the internal relay isnt passing any current. I usually try to run a 55w light bulb off it to test. Made a video on one today lol.

Only suggestion I ever get is to replace fuel pump.. what doesn't make sense to me on my truck is it'll fire up on the second crank(fuel pump primed not a complete crank on 1st crank).. then once it's warmed up no problem it'll start on first crank.. why?.. your suggestions? TIA

You can wire the jumper from a source that only has power when the key is on. That way the fuel pump will only run when the truck is on.

I’m having the same issue. The previous owner already put in the jumper wire. When I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump buzzing when I try to start. It sounds like it’s trying to start but it definitely sounds like I have power to the pump.

@@billmillington5254 Well if you hearing the pump run, you still need to no if its delivering pressure. If you can spray starter fluid in the trottle body and it starts, your problem def fuel related.

@@covidious7916 I did find that that with a more careful search that my ground wire was corroded pretty bad I replaced it and got the fuel pump to power on the car started and ran but when I came out the next day the same issue, so there could be a possible shortage somewhere also, it's nice out so I'm going to see what I can find and I will keep you posted. But be sure to check all of your fuses under the hood and inside to see if any are blown and your relays, but I will let you know if I'm successful today

So I just got done and I simply didn't have the new ground wire I installed securely bolted down but the problem was definitely my ground wire the car is now running 👍🏿💯 perfectly

Hey bud listen, If your physical fuel pump has failed, this type relay repair will not affect this. This relay kit simply used to bypass a module (TIPM) so the needed volts would go straight to the pump and the pump would run. I think these are 2 separate problems.

Bad fuel pump. Nothing else. I already know Cuz it has gone silent. No more buzzing noises. Fuses and relays are good. Car won't start lack of fuel but the only code that popped up is p0340. But it's not the camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor. It has to be the fuel pump cuz the buzzing noise is gone. No matter what is done, it won't start even this method you used in the video. It's a bad fuel pump for my car.
