I must say that the safety tip regarding the handling of these batteries is very important, lithium is very dangerous if it ignites, and this can happen with a simple short circuit, I congratulate you for starting the video with that warning.

A couple suggestions. Tighten up edit. So much talking that really isn't needed. Good edit could cut this from 30+ minutes to 15 or so. Also, sound levels are so varied. Music is crazy loud and your voice is super soft relative. I have to keep adjusting my volume. Suggest you wear a wireless mic so sound is more even.

So DJI makes the batteries are unrepairable basically.. Ain't nobody got time for this. The first step is cracking the case. Just tried it. All you're going to do is break that, too. I appreciate you showing me this is a waste of time. I gave you a thumbs up for that. i guess if these batteries were economically repairable , somebody would actually be offering a repair/exchange service. Kids, make sure you charge your batteries every month... or else

How about the original mavic drone batteries? I bought 2 extra years ago when i bought the drone in 2018 and never used them. Now i pulled them out and the original battery on the unit still works but the 2 new never used wont even light up..... how can i fix brand new batteries?

How do you charge? Do you just connect the LiPro Balance Charger to each cell contact points as shown during measurement?

Hi. No. You would need to unplug in the batteries balance lead, and make a new lead to plug in from the balance charger. Easy way is to use a DC supply of say 12v ( entirely depends on the battery model ), and get the voltage of all the cells collectively to above 10.5v ( if its a 3 cell )

I appreciate the effort in showing us the generalities of the process, however after watching several videos, we found the practical part. You must buy an interface that can cost between $60 and $120. Then there is the software license which is incredibly high. Since it is not a license as we are used to paying and using, it is conditional on a day and up to a month, $100 minimum price and up to $1000 a month, which leaves it out of reach of a person who at most is going to repair one to two batteries, which is usual for someone who buys a drone. I have three and it is not profitable, considering that a new one is still at the excessive price of $160.

i have 15pcs phantom 4 battery new brand and it was in my warehouse for 7years ,last week i found them and none of them charge and work,i assembly one of it and charge with Imax B6 for voltage of 4cell and 2amp,,after some minutes battery blow up when the voltage arrived near 15.2 volts,,are they damage and unusable 100% or my way or charge with 2amp was not good...I will be thanks if you reply me to silve this problem,,

Please help me,,i had 15pcs of phantom 4 battery in stock since 2016,,and for 7 years it wont be charge and just in package and its box,,after i found it in one of big box in my warehouse ,it does not get charge and nothing happen when push the button nothing happen when i plug the phantom 4 original charger to it it does not get charge,,,I disassembly one of them to charge with Imax B6 device ,i charge it first with NIMH mode 2amp and up to 15volt and after some times it start to swollen and but the led on,and with Ev2300 i remove PF ,and after it ,,it start to charge and after some minutes stop charging ,,,i also open another battery and this time i charge with IMAXB6 with 0,5amp and up to 8 volt ,and again it swollen like first one,,My friend are the all battery damage for 7 yeas of unused or is there any way to save all battery to work...please help me....

Thanks for the video but it's really annoying having to adjust the volume every time you fast forward the video. the music is too loud, IMO, in comparison to your voice. Then it's too low when you come back on.

I had a drone wreck itself and the battery went into the street and a car ran over my fpv battery slightly smashed it and even V shaped the mother board I had no clue how it didn’t exploded in the road. I took apart and cut each battery apart (6) while my buddy watched in the garage. I stressed so hard over it like bro you don’t understand what kind of bomb I have in my hand cause this battery was at 100 percent while 1 min fly time blew it was smashed. Each pack had 4voltd still in them. I solder wire to them and have battery packs for 5v led pixel lights now lol

Why do you break these batteries apart? When they still hold a bit of charge so you can read out the battery management chip, can you then not connect to the data and clock terminals of the battery's connector? How much time does a complete battery repair take you? Is it not more affordable to get a new battery?
