2 things that were incorrect were 1 you didn't spread the glue out around the hole, 2 not deflate tube to almost no pressure, that being if it's ever fully deflated the patch will shrink up. a roller/rasp is handy for stitching down the patch to ensure no air pockets under the patch, they can be bought from China bay for $3

There are a bunch of videos on KZbin on how to change/adjust the brakes on an Lectric XP bike. I just did mine last weekend and it is super easy and doesn’t take very much time at all.

I worked a tire shop for years. You should use chalk to make where the tire valve is so that once you find the hole in the tube, you can them match up the location in the tire so you can inspect the same location in the tire for the item that caused the hole such as thorn, glass, tack, etc. I would use a glove to inspect the area because if it was glass then you'll cut your finger when you run it over the hole area if the glass, etc is still in the tire. Also, leaving that plastic applicator from the patch inside the tire will eventually create a friction hole in the tube.

You're hilarious, keep up that energy! The whole looks like a nail hole, they tend to shred the tube a little as they go in and can leave a distinctive diamond-shaped hole.

Nice video. Also, it helps to add the green slime too. Half a 16oz bottle per tire, then fill with air.

Always use the box end of the wrench when possible. When removing and reinstalling tires, use something slippery (I use Windex) and spray it all over the bead to make the tire bead slip over the rim a LOT easier. No need to rotate the tires. Just replace the rear tire more often. Most tubes shred when punctured, so it would be a good idea to carry an extra tube and tools with you. Windex is also great for finding the hole. Oh, and it also helps seat the bead when reinflating the tire.

Great video as I just got my first flat at 198 miles. I read other side had a problem removing the rear wheel based on the stiffness of the frame but yours seem to come off without any trouble. Hope mine is just as easy.

You don't have to take the Derailer off. I have had my own rear tire off without taking the Derailer off. Pick up the chain and move the tire out of it when removing the tire. Easy.

The best part is next time the slime repairs small holes like this in seconds. Great tutorial on how to rotate tires and fix holes also. Nice manual there at the end, with some practice that might be doable! You got good Cart wheels too! Big like guys!

I had to like and subscribe to this video because I'm periodically getting flats on my rear tire which is a pain because I recently just had my e-bike serviced at home. To get full protection from getting any flats I bought some slime sealant, tire liners, and I also have tubes. Would buying the patches as well?

You crack me up young man..lol. I had a couple of flats in the front tire so I put in a tuffy liner. Tire went flat again in the cold weather. I had a hard time putting in that liner. Bike shop said it took them an hr. I'm wondering if it's possible to glue them in? Bike shop said they won't do another.

@@DavidBrandNew One of the first things I did when I got my XP got a pinch flat, ach! Had to get a new inner tube since the tire had blown out. Had some tire puncture protection tapes plus some slime on hand which I went ahead and installed. Had ordered those items sometime before waiting for the right time to install them.

First wheel that came on the bike didnt read a speed or clock miles...2nd one they sent for free came with a bent rim...3rd one worked fine but he had a blow out...4th one is a combo of the rims and tubes from what he has now

You have to be really careful to not pinch the inner tube when not removing the tire but are fixing the puncture. I simply adjusted a slanted air intake and wound up with a pinch flat. Actually, it blew out the tire.

To be honest you don’t have to take the rear tire off. You can simply deflate the tire enough to pull the tube out to locate the puncture. Then just patch it and put the tube back in. I only took the entire wheel off because I wanted to do a tire rotation.

The tires remind me of my son's gocart tires from 35 years ago. All I did was fix flats one sharp rock and flat city so I would patch the inside of the tire and the tube.

After reading the comments I realized I'm not the only one I bought 10 bikes Every one I've used gets a flat usually within a few hundred miles Some delivered with flats and no apparent puncture I suggest the company use better tubes Apparently they are aware of the problem Tuff tubes, thornproof are hard to find and expensive I found a 3x20 tube at local bike shops 19.90 to 29.99 But they get flats quick as well I suggest carrying fix a flat can and replace tube asap Never trust a patch Or a ebike salesman lol Edit Always run finger around tire look for sharp objects , whatever caused the puncture will re Pete if not found My guess is a design flaw ,spoke head rubbing on tube Replace tube protector around rim couldn't hurt

It's ok to use a phillips screw driver to replace a tire lever, just make sure to wrap the metal part of the screw driver with electric tape.

You should do yourself a favor and get some tube type slime and add it to your bikes on day one and unless you pick up metal or glass the slime will repair the leak itself, in 5 years I've only had to repair one flat and that's because I ran over a tire tread and a wire broke off in the tire

Those tyres, like all these designs are more balloon than tyre, too thin. If you get a real puncture that totally deflates it, the tyres easily pop off the rim , dangerous, and murder to push the bike at the least. Best solution, get some tyres with tread and a liner inside to protect the tube. Slime doesn't work on these, a tiny hole in mine just spread slime everywhere making this job much harder. Liners are available in 20 x 4 but a bigger dia one can be cut to fit. Putting the tyres back on it tends to pop off the rim as you inflate in places, grab the top and hold it up tight to the rim on the bottom to keep it there, you can squeeze the top to make sure that stays in there
