Got my first axe the other day at a gun show for $20 its a true temper vulcan by Kelly works. Found your videos trying to re fit the axe handle as it is loose. Sure glad i found your channel, you have some good content. And to find out you're an Oregonian yourself makes it more sweet. I grew up in florence but now i call arizona home. I miss oregon dearly but to be honest I'm glad i got out of there before it turned into what it is today..

I miss the old style of content. Some of the equipment you have Cody is awesome. The motorcycle and small engine content gives me confidence to have a go at my own repairs. But. Bear feet in the workshop is a little risky. I know you are trying to remain grounded but there is a time and place for everything. Keep the faith. D (UK)

Good vice is essential. One of first things when I bought my first home was to get a good vice made in Poland 50 years ago. Next was sewing machine, made also in 70' - good even for thick leather. Next was wood for my bench. I already had few axes, hammers, saws, drill bits etc. ... Since then I haven't got any good chance to buy good anvil... strange.
