The problem I have is “torque overload faulty”. I have followed all the steps and I still get the red/yellow flashing lights. My phone app says the litter robot is ready. But the LR3 continues to display the red/yellow flashing light. How do you turn that mechanism off?

I sent the company an email with pictures along with a quick video or the error. I was sent a new motor. Its working fine for now.

Where did you buy the new cat sensor from? Can’t find it anywhere except Canada which won’t ship it here. And there’s no number for litter robot support

That’s weird it use to be available on Amazon and on the litter robot website. However, I no longer see it. Here’s their Toll Free number 877-250-7729 hope this helps.

I just bought this thing It's day two and the timing light is already blinking what the hell I have to take this thing apart? Okay it's already too much to maintain.
@MAGSHowToVideos4 жыл бұрын
Since you just bought the thing you should still be covered under warranty. If you call the customer service they may have a Technician help you out. If not the return costs for repairs should be covered. Since mine no longer had a warranty I have to do my own testing to figure it out.

Hi, thank you For lost me at the something metal to jumpstart sensor? Huh? What something metal to do what? Then put it back together? How do we know if a new sensor is needed?

Meant, YOU lost me at…

You need something like a wire or a metal paper clip to create a connection that bypasses the sensor. Doing this will trick the machine into thinking the sensor is still installed and was activated. If the machine response to this test that means that either your sensor came loose, was over tightened at some point when being reinstalled or has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps clear it up the confusion.

Couldn't figure out why my litter robot wasn't working, even customer support didn't mention this! Used some tweezers for the metal and yup! That was the issue. Thanks! Now to find the part...
@lisaleviten1898 Жыл бұрын
What do tweezers do? If x happens then need a new one? If y happens then don’t need a new one? What is x and y in that example?

Replaced my cat sensor with a new one, and it still flashes red 🙄 Not fixed
@MAGSHowToVideos2 жыл бұрын
When it comes to replacing the sensor you need to make sure not to over tighten the retaining bolt. If it’s to tight the sensor will read as if there’s a cat inside the bowl and will aluminate the red light. Try loosening the bolt and test it again. If that still doesn’t work. Another possibility which is extremely rare, is that the power cable could be going bad. When I found this litter box in the trash it came with the wrong power cable. Because of that even after I had replaced the sensor I found that the red light would sometimes come back. Once I had discovered the power cable wasn’t the correct Amperage I replaced it and the issue was fixed. Hopefully this helps.

Mine less than year old and cost $1300 with cover and it's broken, piece of junk

Contact litter robot if it’s in fact less than 1 year old it should still be under warranty and they might replace it.
