Glenn, different subject; working on a Ricoh mp5055sp (code: D288-17). Have ordered Drum Unit and the Developer Unit (PN: D2020126 PUDU) as one whole unit. In the Manual it says that if in installed a new PCDU it will auto detect it and auto adjust the SP mode 3-701. but in another page for Replacing Drum Unit and Developer Unit its says to set SP 3-701-002 to i and SP 3-701-023 to 1. my question to this is: do i conform to do nothing as it will auto-detect and auto perform the necessary adjustments or should in activate the required SP 3-701-002 and 3-701-023. another question; if i'm purchasing the PCUDU as a whole unit do i need to perform a Dr gab Adjustment and apply drum setting powder for the new drum and D-Blade?
