Would this be similar for 1st floor problems? We've had a few issues with movement and there's a noticeable sloping, floorboards are coming up, and the floor rattles when you walk along now.

It is difficult to say without an inspection, but I am sure you could brace and re fix the floorboards to improve the noise.

Is it that you did that method throughout the flooring? Or was it only in the areas with the bounce?

We didn't do the entire floor area and that would have create a lot more work and disruption.
