Had to replace bumpers FINALLY from my series 1. Video helpful, BUT you forgot to mention the ensure the protruding tabs go UNDER the "bridge", to make contact with the switches.

I had to try it a couple of times until it worked because first time I was missing the point under the bridge and afterwards the shoulder buttons still didnt work, but after swapping the replacement middle part with the original one (and using the replacement lb-rb-bridge) it worked

Hey man, I recently just got a Xbox series x controller and one of the main problem with it was that the bumper would have the clicking noise, but It didn’t register. It would only register if I pressed on it with force and sometimes it would work normally. Is there any possible way you could help me with this problem?

The only way to fix it is to replace the bumpers

Can you let me know if it's similar for the elite 2. My left bumper? I can't throw flash grenades or certain things unless I press it a few times usually and then it finally goes. I'm assuming it's the sensor though not the actual button. Any help would be appreciated

You will know if it is the Series 1 because you have to manually put in batteries, the series 2 has a built in battery and doe4s not take double A's. Also I would check amazon for parts that's a good place to start! Good luck Warpspider!

Yeah you HAVE TO put it on the way he did here otherwise the bupers will not work. it has to go on totally straight. if you angle it the bumpers wont work.

What bumpers do you have mine have a weak plastic middle that broke twice my other controller has a weak end piece so it doesnt click.

Hey, I know its been awhile since Xbox Elite 1 controller has been out. At first, I thought it was a sticky or misaligned right trigger, its not. I checked on Xbox Accessories, both Left & Right Triggers are "Limited for 100%" to describe it. They won't go the full 100% like if I remap the Top 2 Paddles do. Any fix for both of my triggers at 100% again?

Did your v.1 elite controller come with a usb-c port? Don’t they come with a micro usb from factory?
