Take tin foil and line it around the whole perimeter. Bend the tin foil to only cover the edges that aren’t melting, leave space for the wick to burn. It will trap heat and melt the uneven areas. Light the candle with this tin foil for an hour or two- the raised unmelted parts will level out

I’m fine with tunneling because then I use the left over wax and melt all the extra wax from all my different candles and make 1 big mega candle
@Errorfile404 Жыл бұрын
Putting the microwave as an idea is so bad, some candles have aluminum at the end of the wick which can cause the microwave to burn
@lumicandlesph Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for showing your concern. Indeed, we don't recommend using a microwave, what we're suggesting to use in the video is the regular oven for baking.

I would also recommend using two wicks that helps a lot if you want a nice evenly burn pool but tunneling is also common as well I’ve had this same issue and it irritated the heck out of me 😂
@BreweryBrewАй бұрын
Melt it all down and take off the wick and change it with another wick, or 2 wicks depends on the container you're using.. 😌😌😌

Then you can find the wick , too short to grab
@arun_kumar06 ай бұрын
or it will get burring inside the wax
@claytonjames47795 ай бұрын
If you buy a candle that tunnels, you either didn't burn it for the recommended 2-3 hours for the first burn and put it out or the candle was poorly made with the wrong wick or wick size too small. Doing this will only drown the wick.
@tajsabreen99497 ай бұрын
This is called candle memory, try to burn it fully during the 1st time till the sides, it will prevent tunneling from the next time
@arun_kumar06 ай бұрын
you cant actually prevent tunneling, because most wick are so thin, that the heat cant reach to the side... candle companies make jars with a larger mouth and put just one wick in it, which makes it turnnel... best wick is the wooden wick, I have never seen tunneling problem with those

@@arun_kumar0 Appreciate the comment and apologies for the late response. For us, this is also our frustration. And this is why we crafted our Lumi Candles with wicks that are only proportional for the sizes of the jars. Feel free to try it on your own! We just went live on Amazon US 😊

@lumicandlesph11 ай бұрын
Hi! not really, you can still save your candles with this kind of state, but you'll just really need to dispose the excess wax so it doesn't drown the wick :) But yeah, great idea to make a video for that too! Thanks! :)

Hi! You may try the second method where you could heat it through your oven. Or, you may also try the foil method where you could place foil around the container as you light up your candle again. Both methods should help melt the wax evenly.
