SINCE HE DID NOT TELL YOU IT COULD BE WIRE PROBLEM, BAD WIRE CONNECTION, BAD COMPUTER, OR BAD COIL. THE SIMPLE WAY TO VERIFY IF THE COIL IS BAD IS TO SWAP IGNITION COIL FROM # 1 CYLINDER TO # 2 CYLINDER . CLEAR THE CODE AND START THE ENGINE. IF THE NEW CODE IS P0352 ( # 2 CYLINDER ), THAN YOU HAVE A BAD IGNITION COIL. YOU DON'T WAN TO WASTE MONEY ON PARTS BY TAKING A GUESS

Do you realize that there was no diagnosis performed in order to confirm that the coil is bad? At the bare minimum, I'd firstly exchange the suspicious coil with coil from another cylinder and see if the problem moved. If so, then it's safe to say that the coil is faulty and replace it. The P035* code could also mean that there's an issue with the wiring and that's not going to be fixed by just replacing a coil...

Good video. When reading a code (e.g. P0352 Ignition coil primary secondary) does this mean a likely cause is the #2 plug ignition coil pack?

I just fixed a very intermittent PO 354 code, #4 cylinder misfire. Ended up being a bad gasket between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. Replaced the intake manifold gasket and all seems to be good again. It was on a 2009 2.4L Camry with 200k miles. It was even throwing out bank 1 O2 sensor bad codes.

You have about 4 codes and you only changed one coil, does it mean the other coils are not faulty? I thought for you to have such numbers of codes will be a faulty fuel pump. So why did you change just one coil among other coil and the issue was solved?

My 2009 Corolla has a P0351 code but only hesitates when it’s warm out , When it’s cold it runs fine .. But I will try to switch coil 1 with coil 2 and see if I get a P0352 code then I’ll be 100% sure .. Thanks for the tips

Hello, I have a 02 ram 4.7. I am getting a p0201(injector 1), and p0351(ignition coil 1). I replaced the spark plugs with OE ones, and ignition coils were also Changed. Fuel injector was replaced as well. I tested the fuel pump running and shutting it off. Did the noid test and it was fine. Tested the coil itself and it’s getting spark. Reset the code and it comes back. It’s like the cylinder it’s dead. I can unplug the coil on cylinder one and fuel injector and it makes no difference.
