My keyboard on the PC i'm having issues with I guess is not fixable. I can not do the automatic repair because some keys on the keyboard does not work, it is a older PC and I been using it to watch hulu on my tv for the past two/three years because I had gotten a new laptop due to the keyboard in it being iffy. So If I can not type my password, it will not let me do it, and my warranty expired so Windows will not help me for free. Is there any way I can use the on screen keyboard ?

If we're understanding you correctly, you're trying to boot your system from a Windows 8.1 installation on a flash drive? And if that's the case, it may take a little longer than usual depending on if it's a usb 2.0 or usb 3.0 drive. And also if your system supports usb 3.0 devices.
