I think that the way you did her hair looked really good. You did a good job of color using the semi-permanent color, and when styling the hair did a good job of covering up any areas that needed it due to thinning etc.

I have ultra-fine hair. i. e. box braids cause micro-fractures in my hair with or without extension hair. I doubt my hair and my scalp can withstand that double process of relaxer and bleach/high lift/permanent colour. I would only consider it with a buzzcut when I'm prepared to be bald. You do such a good job no body has to know that she has damage and/or thinning!
