How to fix damaged MDF with Bondo | Flipping Furniture: Avengers Nightstand Makeover

Hey guys!
This was my first time working on a piece this heavily damaged. Half the top of this nightstand was bubbling up to the point where it was almost throw in the garbage. But I took on the challenge to see if I could fix it and I’m so glad I did! It isn’t perfect, but it’s so much better then it was. Join along, as I myslef, learn a thing or two:)
All you need is bondo, and a lot of patience and you can save a damaged piece of furniture😅💪🏼
I hope this video can encourage even just one person to SAVE THE FURNITURE!!! Just because a piece of furniture is damaged, doesn’t mean it needs to be throw away. Grab your bondo and see what you can do!

I just saw your shorts video on this and left a comment, but just wanted to comment here again to say thank you!!! I have a small Bombay chest that I just picked up from FBMP that needs a few repairs, and to my surprise, once I got it home and started to clean and inspect it, I realized it’s made entirely out of MDF! I’ve had Bondo for a while now but have been too nervous to use it, so your video is so incredibly informative and helpful to me and now I don’t feel nearly as intimidated! So thanks again!!

I used a bondo on a Fiat body. It was a sprayable bondo to cover blemishes over large areas..Like a thick sandable primer but bondo harness.
