Can we get a follow up on this lady's nails? Has she been to you again since her 1st treatment. Thanks for your thoroughness with explaining, much appreciated ☺️❤️

I have gravy’s diseases. It is a thyroid disease. It causes my nails to peel and I have like a wash board feel to them. You do nice work. Peeling and broken nail turn out so much better. Thank you for sharing.

This sound perfect for me. Many of my nails split all the time, they're thin and I can't grow them. When the weather gets cold, it's even worse because they break all the time.

When I did my City and Guilds for manicuring back in 1987. Yes. So long ago. We were taught not to file the nails in a see saw motion as this causes the nail to break.
@lifesjourney654 жыл бұрын
OMG I also did my Beauty & Hair diplomas through City & Guilds!! I finished in 1985. They dont exist anymore and I cannot get my certificate copy😭 Since then I have redone the "core" units of the diplomas and I do ongoing workshop training

You are right! I was also taught never to file wet nail.

Depends on the grit size and as long as it’s done with a light touch it’s fine

@@sophiebaines6768 Actually I have seen many clients filing back and forth and their nails split, when I told them not to do fike that way, it helped, the nails sropped splitting.
@sophiebaines67684 жыл бұрын
Majbritt castrup Jørgensen that’s nice. I gently file my clients nails back and forth with a 200grit file and they never split.

Can lack of keratin be treated? Or is that a condition that won't improve?

I have flexible and thin nails too , they break off all the time on the sides. I purchased the OPI Nail Envy which is a bit expensive. It worked for about a week, so I gave up on it. I get terrible hang nails too, I wonder why, This video is making me think lol, Thank you for the information! 👍

My nails were the same as in the video before. Later, I used LANBENA nail treatment essence on the recommendation of a friend and it was much better. It's great!!!
@mmb44274 жыл бұрын
Where can we purchase your nail files? I also have very thin nails, that bend easily and break at certain stress points. Therefore I keep them very short. I find the nail files used at salons are extremely abrasive. I need a finer grit on my nails. Appreciate any recommendations.

I've been babying my damn nails since June, and the only good thing happening is they no longer peel. However, they still break. I use oils several times every day, I never cut - only file with a glass file, I push my cuticles back every two weeks. What else can I possibly do? I'm very frustrated 😠

What do people do when they have hypothyroidism and are on chemotherapy meds? My nails split in the middle along the vertical ridges in the bails, tear on the sides and just look like crap. I love having nails, but I can't afford going every 2 weeks for artificial nails. Plus, I worry it's not healthy to wear them indefinitely. So what's a girl supposed to do?

Think of getting 'Healthy Nails Tincture' from www.thetoebro.com to give your nails some better nutrition. There isn't too much you can do until treatment is over and your health issues level out. Good luck!

this is so much better than what a “meticulous” manicurists does stateside. She even claims that clients go to her because a podiatrist didn’t do anything for a clients fungal toenails!!! what podiatrist does that!!!
@lifesjourney654 жыл бұрын
She claims a lot of things that dont make sense🤔🙁
@elvis4594 жыл бұрын
Toe Bro himself does not treat fungal nails. He files them back or removes them but I have never seen him suggest a remedy. Many podiatrists/chiropodists do not treat it. The only one who I have ever seen take samples to get lab work done and treat it properly is DC foot doctor. All of the others I have watched do nothing other than “manage” it. It bugs the hell out of me because it is treatable and can be cured. The Meticulous Manicurist has great success in getting rid of it completely and bringing back healthy nails.
