Are the inserts heli coils?

Yes, they are the same thing. Helicoil is a trademark so we can't call them that. But the generic term is a threaded insert.

They never claim it’s something special or new to the market, they’re just offering their own brands power sports specific version of it; probably significantly cheaper bc it has only what riders need. Did we watch the same video? Sheesh…
