Excellent tutorial! Really, thank you very much! 💯 Unfortunately, the switch on the Redragon Cobra-chroma M711 mouse cannot be opened. They even look a little different. Most likely; it can only be fixed by desoldering and replacing it. The only thing I could do was spray it with some electronic cleaning oil [Silijet E-plus]. I don't think it will work; but it was the only thing I could do. If it doesn't work with the cleaning oil; I don't know how convenient it would be to change the switch since the mouse cost me $600 MXN [$30 USD]. - Ramón 🇲🇽

IMPORTANT: When reinstalling the spring, be sure to install the rounded edge pointing down. Following this tutorial, I installed the spring upside down, which resulted in bending it into an irreparable shape. Further workarounds include soldering on an entire new switch or just getting a new mouse lmao

Tried it, not as easy as it looks. This dude must be a rocket surgeon. But it confirms it's the mouse that's the problem.

If you blow into your mouse, you can solve the problem by discharging the static energy. If the problem comes back after a few minutes, try spraying WD40 under the mouse buttons. I solved it this way

No. I used the spring that the mouse had inside and just fixed that. Only thing I needed was a screwdriver to open the mouse.

Thanks for showing where the screws are lol. I tried messing with the spring, but it is shit, buy a cheap mouse and solder in new switches. And need new pads I guess. The screw driver is philips 000, and the one screw in the middle of the sticker needs a screw driver with the thin part at least 13mm long.

I missed the one under the pad too at first. 😁 I'm still using the mouse yet but now the right click seems to double click. Also bought another one same model since this one is working yet after so many years. Good luck getting it fixed!!!
