How to Fix Excel Formula Not Working Automatic (Not Updating Automatic)

Awesome help- Thank you! My excel also went to manual with no explanation. I was having to hit F9 every time I entered data into a field, or created a new formula. This has repaired my problem!

For those like me who tried everything but it is still not working, i realized that you also need to check the version of your excell. Mine was in 2019 and there are some formulas and functions not working but doing it in another excel with 2024 version, it totally worked just perfectly. I hope you guys will find out what works for you and get that assignment or work going. ❤

Hello, I cannot find any video on the issue I've been experiencing for weeks now: After a few minutes of using an Excel file, I can no longer select the intended fields except by useing the up/down and right/left buttons. Clicking on a field doesn't work. This also means, I cannot cut/paste content from one field to another. Sometimes closing the file helps for a bit, but then the issue restarts. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Wel done ,you explain very well, Iwrite a formula in one cell (any one ,Left, Mid , Right) and take result, But when i write a another formula in another cell and refer previous formula (Left,Mid Or Right) in this formula excel does not show result but when i write manually values rather than using formula (Left,Mid Or Right) excel displys values,why? hey there is not a single mistake but still the problem persist in my excel. like when I select and drage the mouse down then only my formulas are working even though they are in auto mode can you just see what could be other problems. I have troubleshoted all the ones which you explained but nothig worked for me. I want the formula to work automatically not manually.
