I "fixed" this issue on my XF last season by untangling the gasket from the sender arm :) I was about to replace the float, assuming it was leaking. Nontheless, good video, at least now I know what to look at also when it happens again.

To get me by for the season, is it possible to cut one the the 2 wires going to the sensor so it at least stops blinking in my face .

Yeah, it's probably the sensor. Most of the time, you're pretty safe to just throw a new sensor at it

Hey can you please let me know which plug connects into the back of the premium gauge? I pulled the hood off without making a note of it, now I got the two plugs to connect back in

The one that comes off the hood harness is for the guage.

Have you ever had the problem that the cluster stopped working and 2 spark plugs blew at the same time? First ride of the year and it happened to me. The sled went into safety mode and I can't do anything with it :/ I just bought a M8 Sno Pro 2013
