Worked Perfectly. For those who are confused and have a Port for both a headphones and Microphone on their PC i have a fix that worked for me. When you go to the device advanced settings section in the app from the video ( Realtek Audio Console ) their should be 2 options under 'Front Panel', in my case it was set to both headphones. To fix the issue i put my 'headphone' to the top on and 'mic in' on the bottom one. Maybe changing it and messing around with it will solve your issue. Hope this helps.

my god thank you, i had an annoying code leak from voice mod that entirely rewrote the input selection to the voice option one, but nothing worked and even after uninstalling was still there, eventually found and uninstalled the driver, but then had this option, i cant tell you how happy i am seeing my jac mic pop up now because of this THANK YOU

you need to download your motherboards audio drivers. search up the name of your mother board (brand included) and add drivers to the end of it and it should be the first thing that pops up

I got it on laptop...but I had a headset splitter plugged in while doing the solution so maybe thats why it popped up, altho I removed it now, its still working just fine, the headset splitter iteslef didnt do shit, this man is a legend
