A while back people complained that Instagram‘s face filters promote plastic surgery. There’s lately been a reels trend of people showing what they look like with Instagram filters versus without and calling it catfishing. Maybe Instagram put matters into their own hands and removed these filters to prevent face dysmorphia. I really hope it’s some kind of glitch that will be fixed because I really loved these filters it was not that big of a deal.

I tried everything but nothing worked. Tried Offloading, deleting app. Also tried adding different account but no luck. After that I uninstalled all apps related to Instagram like layout and Hyperlapse and boom it worked. I think all Instagram apps share same local directory for data storage.

How do I do that. I tried EVERYTHING nothing works. My problem is that I see all the filters there, but keep loading, loading and never apply the filter. It’s so annoying. Please, help.

Same here! All my saved filters are gone and when I go back to search for them I get a statement that indicates it’s no longer available for my location or region.

Go on instagram>settings>privacy> scroll down to face and hand effects and turn it on
