I switched a business account to personal and after 2 days the music option appeared. I left it for a few more days and then switched back to a business account and within 1 day, the music feature was removed again. It seems like business accounts just aren't allowed music! Even with the new Reels, my personal account has the music option but not my business account.

Follow up comment: I've since switched to a Creator account (because it provides analytics unlike a Personal Acc) and the music sticker has returned. I can also use music in Reels now. The only downside (for me) with the creator account is that you cannot use auto-publishing software to schedule your IG posts in advance. But that's ok, I just post manually when I need to.

I had my account as a business account and it was the strangest dilemma for the music feature. It would only allow me to access a random assortment of songs for both the browse & the search part. But only songs that it had already listed for me (on both. Couldn’t even search for any?). But after switching back to personal account it let me be to search and have access to all songs again!!! Thank you so much for this video. 🔑
