How to Fix iPad Touch Jumping/Glitching - Touch IC Replacement

After a touch screen replacement, the touch of the iPad is still jumping. With further testing, it is found that the circuit connecting the touch connectors to the touch IC is normal. After a touch IC replacement with the help of a grinding pen and hot air gun, the touch jumping problem has been cleared.

Great video and i have a Ipad4 that is 99% not responsive except maybe if a rub the screen for a while i can get it sort of active on and off so i thought some kid of cap weakness or in the chip too? all visual inspection shows nothing and touch coil has zero resistance so i figure its the touch IC? i also tried another working digitizer and same and checked socket and all perfect.

Hi, the iPad is 7th gen. It only has one touch IC so we only replace one.

when changing touch screen you to put tape on the flex cable on the digitizer, it's not a problem with touch ic. the same high temperature tape you are using put it on the inside of the screen on the cable that is coming out from the digitizer

Hi, the iPad already had a touch jumping problem when mailed in. We tried to replace a touch screen for testing but the jumping problem still existed, which can rule out the possibility of the touch screen problem.
