I have an iPhone 12. The 0.5 lens works perfectly, but for some reason when I use the normal lens, it ONLY focuses on things that are close to it and I have no idea why. If there’s more than like 3 inches distance it just won’t focus.

I had an issue with the optical image stabilization hardware making noise when the camera was being turned on and the "Force Restart" tip made it a lot quieter, it's hard to notice now. It's strange that the issue didn't fix itself over time, because I've had the phone for 1.5 years and I installed software updates multiple times during that time.

Hello I do not have a noise that is being made when my camera is being used . My .5 works perfectly but my x1 is very unstable it’ll stay stable for a sec and then start like shaking all over the place this happens on both the camera app and on social media apps as well. It’s the rear camera only .I’ve updated 3 times atleast since noticing this issue the phone is an iPhone 12 Pro . It’s not worth fixing the camera anymore since they’re so old now apple tried to find a software issue or any issue with the camera but nothing came up through diagnostic ?

Okay I know this may sound weird but. 0.5 is working but the 1x is super blurry. I hit my phone on the side a few times and it worked. I think my camera got hacked out of place.

It may sound weird but I hit my phone on bed foam. And believe me it got fixed. Sometimes when phone is not waterpack dust enter into camera which made it not to focus properly by hitting it with ur palm or foam tht dust moves aside

I’ve tried everything except factory reset and nothing works. My camera is making this weird crackling buzzing noise, vibrating and making blurry photos. Sometimes when I restart it would be fine when it is turned back on but now it is just like this all the time. I’m really irritated about it because I had an issue with my previous phone where it was force restarting every 3 mins, I got an exchange through insurance and they sent me this “refurbished” phone which has been doing this on and off since I got it. Really frustrating as I’m on vacation and I now can’t take photos with my phone.

i actually took my phone to fix cause it had a speaker issue. after it came back i noticed the camera wobbles. i have never has this issue with the phone before. i suspect foul play here. maybe my camera was swapped. i didnt do any software updates and the phone didn't fall from my hand.

Yes, the camera hardware had issues. Had no choice but to replace it.

Got the 15 Pro, it’s brand new, straight from Apple. I’ve had it for 4 days now. Old phone is iPhone XR and it blows the 15 Pro out of the water in terms of stabilization. EDIT: I believe I found the fix for why the 15 Pro would be choppy and all. Go into Settings > Camera > Record Video > Auto FPS and select Off. I was testing in a dim lit room and even the setting mentions about low light environment. So just keep it off and it’ll be fine.
