Here is how to fix these issues;
Select the right setting.
1. Check the washer’s cycle settings.
2. Select the appropriate cycle.
3. Reset the washer by unplugging it for a few minutes then plugging it back.
4. Start a new cycle.
Ensure wash load is properly sized and balanced.
1. Stop and unplug the washer.
2. Offload and redistribute the load.
3. Ensure the feet of the washer are balanced.
4. Close the lid and restart.
Assess the lid switch assembly.
1. Unplug the washer.
2. Use a multimeter to test for continuity.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness.
4. Place the multimeter probes on the terminals of the lid switch.
5. If it does not show continuity when the lid is closed, replace it with a new one.
Inspect the Drive Belt
1. Unplug the washer from power.
2. Carefully pull the belt off the motor pulley and the drum pulley.
3. Place the new drive belt around the drum pulley first.
4. Ensure the belt sits evenly on both pulleys.
5. Reattach the washer panels.
