First time(2 years ago) I dont remember how happened, but I lent it to a friend, when she gave it back it read the SD card(she knows nothing). It happened yesterday. I've tried several steps but it didn't work! So my last option was to safely removed my SD Card to my device and i installed it with my Samsung galaxy J2 SM-J200GU and the SD card was detected. I decided to reformat the card and everything in it was erased. Then I put it back to my Vivo phone again and hola the phone detected back again the 256GB SD Vivo Card. That's it guys!

it works at oppo reno 5 by your method sir, thank you very much 1. removed the sim tray with memory card 2. go to settings>app management>app list 3. search "file manager" 4. go to file manager>storage usage, then click "clear data" 5. exit the setting, then restart the phone 6. after the restarted, insert the sim tray with sim card and memory card and after that, it works now

Hi guys, whosoever was not able to get the data still after this process, same happened with me, i tried everything but still it didn't happen, so what i did was i bought a card reader and inserted the sd card in it and then connected it to the laptop and you won't believe everything was visible inside the sd card in my laptop then i copied everything into my laptop, hope so it will help you, just in case if this also didn't work then pls try to use different card reader and different laptops ,i hope then it will work. If you move the apps to sd card the apps wont be able to work properly because apps has a fully functional system to the internal storage of your phone so dont do move the apps on sd card its unsafe this is base on my experience..

Try doing what i did! Transfer your SD card to other phones if it can be detected reformat it then place it back to your Vivo phone. We have the same phone and it worked on me so there's no reason it can't be on your phone. Good luck!
