You just close the launcher and reload it no need to dns flush or such

It worked for me and a dude I play withh. He did it then returned to the same shard/sever as he rejoined teammates, and found the markers were now working. See people arguing that it shouldnt yet here I sit after following the sets now playing merc missions where it displays every target npc marker. If you re arguing saying it doesnt/shouldnt work, just do it anyway, you might be suprised.

AFAIK this does not fix 60030 errors, which currently prevent login for many players.

Yea no, Although i didn't have that issue, people are reporting that this does't work. I wonder are they doing it correctly since i see a lot of confusio about what Character repair is :D I am looking into that as we speak but this is if you can't login at all or Error 190005 tho ;)

@@c0sm0cat660 just had a 60030 error, and i was able to log back in, although strange thing was when i entered i was back at Orison, and i didnt even do character repair (i errored in pyro with a respawn set to Orbituary) since that is how i fix the missing markers. It's all wierd but im playing the game just fine.

That errormeans your account is bound to a mesh number that probably is down or rebooting. Each time I got the dreaded 60030 error I just waited a few hours and it cleared up. I've had it twice so far in 4.0.

nope, nope, we already spend too much time loading in a game that doesn't have loading A simpler version for markers, read the mission, where it is, on which planet, when you approach the planet, you see a blue marker that looks like a station or a commaray, only on that marker says Target location. When you get there, then you get and Yellow marker, btw, all "fake station" markers remain after the completed mission, after some time when your Stanton is covered by about 10 of those markers and they interfere, just bedlog, change the server and continue.

@@Star_CitizenYT hahaha true! I found it unacceptable to not have markers and than tried everything to get them back this is what sorted it out always, sonetimes even getting out of the game and restarting the launcher didnt work but this works every time.

i just alt f4 and then relog and the mission marker shows up, been a solidly reliable fix for me

Can be related to the shard you're connected to, changing region can fix it too

@spyce69 yea to me as well, just gove it a minute or 30, seems that that one fixed itself for me. I also tryed renewing the ip donno if that had anything to do with it... lemme know in an hour do you still have it.

Someone in chat claimed they did a complete uninstall of the game, char repair, log out of RSI site, and started completely fresh and now they are working flawlessly. I am doing same now even including your dns cache flush just in case (not gonna hurt anything so why not). Maybe this will let me do some missions again finally.

Goddamn all that even? Did you try just reseting your Character and flushing the DNS in case you can't Login after?

Soo had a mission tab before i went to Star Citizen Jail...did my time, now i dont have any missions available no matter where im at in the verse Did a character repair...nothing, thou I do appreciate the video. Anyone know of a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated

​@@lauwhavening8455 I have heard of you go into your stat citizen folder and find the user folder and delete it it works. This isn't replaced if you uninstall and reinstall. Didn't try it just heard it. I don't have the problem (yet)

Same here. It is definitely server side. I hypothesize my character, which is in effect trapped on a certain server, will be released if the server crashes and does a reset. Unfortunately, the new crash recovery on SC servers is going to make that unlikely. :(

@@Crazy-Chicken-Media yea i just got a 60k and managed to log in without a problem, black screen than 60k, alt f4 and all good. I guess it depends on every case, im just trying to share what helped me. Maybe it does to you as well.

It worked for me... my issue was no quest markers, this fixed it. It is not a 60k Error Tutorial.

I can confirm that character repair works for 4.0 prefiew, as I have used it a pair of times. Is easy to check as it resets your location back to your home planet. Obviously this doesn't mean that it will work for all the 4.0 issues, like the 60030 error.

@@its5oclockcharlie because none of it has anything to do with markers showing or not showing, flushing DNS is ridiculous if you have half a clue how DNS works, character repair literally does nothing in 4.0. this entire video is ignorant click bait. I could make a video saying flushing the toilet and re-logging will fix mission markers and it's just as likely to work as often, but it literally nothing to do with it working or not.
