I don’t get why we need to do all of this changes to our pc’s and possibly have some malfunctions with other games over this game that it should be already optimized since the launch. I heard people changing their graphics cards drivers but in my opinion I wouldn’t risk that but that’s just me. Honestly we’re not missing out nothing different. Appreciate the video!

If you go to “graphics settings” there’s an option to add the games exe and have it run as high performance similar to the option in the Nvidia control panel. This seemed to help me a lot. Still get stutters but it’s not as bad. The exe is called call of duty hq it’s in your game files

just a tip, no need to google cpu, you can see core count the bottom of task manager cpu page it says "cores: 6" in the video

My bad, should have explained this part better. But the reason you should Google it is because on some of the newer CPU’s such as the i9-12900k when you go on the intel website you’ll see #performance cores which is different to the value of ‘Total Cores’ if you see #performance cores then you should input that value instead of the Total Cores value

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 rn with 6 cores and 12 threads, Set my threads to 12 and its running much better. If you have a cpu with hyperthreading (any 4 core cpu newer than 2014 or any cpu in general after 2017) check the amount of threads and use that as the number. If your cpu has hyperthreading it actually boosts performance so much more than just using 1 thread per core. I think activision surprisingly did a good job in terms of optimization for hyperthreading specifically.

It's not really the players honestly. Bullets just don't register sometimes. Like I'll shoot a guy. Then he shoots and I die. Then his kill cam won't even show me shoot. That stuff needs to be fixed.

@@223boyz7 use cpu-z and select half of your thread count on the benchmark tab and click stress cpu, it makes the game stable for some reason. its the only fix that worked for me

Like it doesn't matter what kind of ram or CPU have it's definitely something with the GPU.

sometimes i have hude input lag, i dont know how to fix this problem, and i cant find anything in internet about this, i can see these problems up to 5-10 times in a match, the player is running without stopping, or wont react to pressed buttons, the weapon wont stop shooting or wont shoot when i pressed the button, he start to do all pressed buttons after 2-3 seconds, i tried to reduce monitor HZ, tried to disable G-Sync, V-Sync, undervolt GPU, close all apps update absolute all drivers and bios, nothing helped me ((, i dont have fps drops, i dont seen any gpu time and cpu time increase

whats the difference of Thread Count & Core Count? on my CPU's Website it says my CPU Core Count is 8 but the Thread Count is 16? do i still just take the 8 From the Core Count?

Threads are for computing speeds & cores increase the amount of work your computer can handle. If you see #performance cores on the website then use that value instead

unfortunately these weren't able to help me. I probably did just about all the usual fixes. I get a black screen/freeze for about 2-3 full seconds every so often. The longer I play the more frequent it happens until I restart. Eventually restarting doesn't help and I have to restart my Pc. Then that doesn't work and I have to straight up redownload the game. But its this cycle of the same issue getting progressively worse and worse. I have never had such an issue with any other game, including similar games like BF4. It sucks because it nearly makes the game unplayable.

I nearly just broke my monitor because of this freezing. i watched a different video which recommended to change my nvidia drivers back before the latest version. did that. changed my texture streaming. on the lowest possible settings. on 95 fov. AND I STILL FREEZE EVERY 30 SECONDS. how am i meant to win a gunfight when all i see is 1 frame.

for those having issues still make sure tpm is enabled on your windows and your connection is stable, you have the game downloaded on your best hard drive, you have Nvidia dlss on ultra prepormance or Nvidia image scaling on prepormance, lowering all the shadow options can also reduce lag, Vram target usage being lowered can also help.

I have a 3080 12gb, 16gb of ram at 3000mghz, i7 10700KF(not overclocked) and while the game is set to max settings on achieving anywhere between 80-125 fps, I'm getting hitching no matter what I do with the graphical settings, I see the streamers aren't really complaining and I know they have god tier set ups, but I mean me and you shouldn't be experiencing this and your rig is probably way more optimized than mine and you're having to downscale resolution

Is the game installed on a M.2 SSD gen 4.0? If so, uninstall the game and install it on a normal SSD drive and it will work! 100%

This game needs to fix the crashing already I’ve tried everything so many different methods so much that I pulled out my 2060 from the depths of my room and installed it and loaded everything to it (google discord etc) inside the nvidia control panel and prioritized only my games (mw2, tarkov, Minecraft etc) on my new 3000 series and I just finished doing that so ima see if it still crashes T_T

Just an FYI, i have tried all these tips / tricks and nothing helped. I resolved stuttering for now by moving my installation from an older SSD drive to my NVME and literally zero stuttering now. Drives are cheap now, so worth a try - but resolved it for me, hope it helps someone

What worked for me, was turning off any sort of scaling. Whether it be Dlss or Fsr etc. Turn it off. and turn down your render resolution to achieve the desired fps. stutter free for me
