I have MTP chosen but it still is charging. Also other devices aren't showing up, but I do have Human Interface Devices. Something called HID-Compliant vendor-defined device?

Please need help, I have an android galaxy avant phone, I used to be able to just plug it in and it would connect to any computer I had. Now all it does is charge my phone and no where do I see any setting on my phone to connect to my pc. How can I comnect? I just want to transfer music files.

Nothing work for me.. until I change the setting on my phone to { Transferring images} instead of MTP. It can only download the images/photos off my phone, Samsung s5 Neo. J J Jun Jue have you uninstalled the current configurations, and then reinstall it when the phone is plugged in as "unknown device"? As for the missing list; select android phone NOT mobile device
