How to Fix Nespresso Machine for Not Pumping Water

NO THAT'S A FIX! Really appreciate the pro tip. Mine was sitting around unused for several months. Took me about 4-5 syringe fillups and new it was full when I saw water starting to come out from the top area with it laying on its side on the counter. Thanks for saving me $170 during the holidays!

You are a LIFE SAVER!! My cousin gave me my nespresso and it wasn’t working. Tried this (with the help of my fiancé) and BOOM it worked!! I didn’t have a syringe so I used an old soap dispenser to pump the water. Worked GREAT!

I didn’t take out the screws and just used a long silicone straw in the tank to blow water into the hole in the bottom and it worked the same way. Thanks to you!!! I bout mine used and the person said it was in storage for a month same as yours. 4 years ago. Do you still have yours?

Thank you so much. I tried the plastic air bag in the water container, the pumping with a straw, the pumping just with the water container, etc. This was the only fix that worked. Thanks so much!!

Thank you so much, this video was very useful. I have a nespresso machine model # f511, when I checked my machine after watching this video I found out that the water supply pipe (between the water tank and the pump) is broken and needs replacement. I've contacted nespresso and they said that they can't help me with this as I purchased my machine from overseas and not from the US. I think I can fix it by myself, I just need to find a replacement for it. Does anyone know any source from which I can buy this pipe?

You may want to try this first: Just get a turkey baster, pump water into the tiny hole at the bottom where the water goes from the tank into the unit. Worked for me in 30 seconds. Hope it helps.

Did not work for me. I had a hard time to pull of de scew becose only 2 screw had a head and the others was like revet. But I manage to retrive de screw, put water with a seringe but no result. The motor run but no water?

There is an easier way without tools. Use a plastic bag with air in it and press it into the water container while the machine pumps. The plastic bag makes a seal in the water container and adds pressure to pump the water through.

Lift up "the arm" and press the lungo button to at water, when you see water running through, press down "the arm", the water is now in the system again.

Cut a half inch copper pipe and got an air bladder, insert pipe where water tank goes, fill wjth water then bladder that shit into the pump, worked within a minute.
