How to Fix No Enhancement Tab in Sound Settings on Windows 11- [Tutorial]

If you are a Windows 11 user and cannot access the microphone enhancement tab in the microphone properties, fret not, you have come to the right place.
On an added note, this issue can also cause your mic to distort and thus end up in a recording or a call with average voice quality.
Issues addressed in this tutorial:

Enhancements tab allows you to control various settings such as “Bass Boost, Virtual Surround, Room Correction etc”. The error occurs most frequently after users update from previous versions of windows. Most of the users claim to have the lost the enhancements tab during/after the update.
You will be inclined to uninstall and then reinstall a lot of drivers but that will not fix the issue. We have had users of two different Audio driver vendors (Realtek Audio ad Conexant SmartAudio) report the issue. .
If the Enhancements tab is missing in Sound settings or Speakers Properties for Realtek Audio or Conexant SmartAudio users on your Windows 11 device after upgrading from the previous build of Windows, then this tutorial will help you successfully resolve the issue.

Some computers come with Premium audio package like DTS x or acer harmony and all u can do is select presets no eq... wack. You can however try Steel series Sonar for EQ just make sure ur comp can handle it.

I found this comment somewhere else and it worked for me: The place where he changes his driver to high definition device you need to uncheck the box show compatible. Than you go in the left box all the way down to microsoft and there you can find high definition audio device with someting like version .... and you choose the newest one and after the restart there should be the enhancement tab.
