lol this is opposite of what I needed. I wanted to use the controller to basically make my wired headphones bluetooth while I cleaned my room so I can listen to music with the headphones plugged into my controller :l

An even better method to make sure this never happens again is to disable the mic and speaker for the controller in the sound control panel. that way both input and output from the controller are never an option for the pc and its applications

so what am i supposed to do when it doesnt show any sound device but headset earphone and it still just plays through my controller no matter what, ive updated drivers ive switched headsets, plugged my headset directly into my PC, nothing works

every tutoral both enabling and disabling it assumes the user already has it showing up as a usb speaker or even has it in the audio devices menu.
