Same in my samsung note 20 ultra, but it become normal again after i do this: turn off auto brightness and set in 45 to 50 percent brightness,dont set in dark mode,set screen in 60hz refresh rate, and last charge your phone always and wait to back in normal. Maybe can help

Temporary soluction. Turn on the "Always On Display" mode. Turn the display off (by pressing the right button). Then press the touch-screen 2 times until the screen shows the digital watch, so press the right button to turn the screen on. When the screen turns on you will notice that the flickering issue is over. Its not a definitive soluction, but it works. I suppose that is a software issue.

None of the steps solved my problem tried a sensor disable builtin developer option no use, but keeping GPS disabled solved the problem, I accidentally disabled GPS it became good in a day and I was happy, but didn't think disabling GPS was the one made it, then turned GPS for an app and the issue occurred again I was clueless, then after couple of weeks disabled GPS for saving power vola! The issue was gone in couple of hours or a day, so its GPS itself or some app using GPS caused the issue.

Bro same problem in my phone , I have tried everything u tried, and tried even more den u . So I got a temporary solution for it if u r still using that f***ing s9plus phone . Just on the AOD (always on display) and turn off the screen . Next double tap the display so the AOD gets on . Den press the power button so it won't burn the screen. Try dis method . If u success in dat plz report da result

The fix is just motherboard replacement because screen flicker is cause by the motherboard itself

Pretty sure it's hardware.. I reset to factory settings and had the same issue and I also installed crdroid (which is a different OS) and had the same issue.. reinstalled the original OS and still.. the issue persists. I tried the always on display trick but that does nothing to my phone.. Adjusting brightness solves it but it drains the battery and it's hard to use at night.
